Your contractual partner for the account is Anime Kultur e.V. alone.
1.3These Terms of Use govern the use of the Anime Kultur Account at account.animekultur.de. For the individual services you sign in to with your account, their own terms apply in addition.
2. What the Anime Kultur Account Is
2.1The Anime Kultur Account is a central access point. With a single sign-in you can use various services, for example AnimeRadio.de, AnimeTickets.de or the portal for vendors, artists and helpers.
2.2The account is free of charge.
2.3The account contains only the data needed for your sign-in. Everything else, for example orders or applications, is held by the respective service.
2.4Some of the services are operated by other companies, for example by AKV Events GmbH. These companies are legally separate from Anime Kultur e.V. Your account remains in place even if a service ends or its operator changes.
3. Registration
3.1To register you need a valid e-mail address and a password. A username is optional.
3.2You must be at least 16 years old. If you are younger, you need the consent of your parents or legal guardians.
3.3After registration we send you an e-mail with a link. You can only sign in once you have confirmed your e-mail address via this link. The contract for the use of the account is concluded with this confirmation. If you do not confirm your e-mail address within 7 days, we delete the registration.
3.4Your details must be true. You must not pretend to be another person.
3.5There is no entitlement to an account.
4. Signing In to Services
4.1When you sign in for the first time to a service operated by another company, we show you beforehand which company that is and which data it receives from your account. We only pass on this data once you agree.
4.2We never pass your password on to a service.
4.3You can revoke your consent at any time in your account. After that, you can only sign in to this service again once you agree anew.
4.4The operator of a service is responsible for what the service does with your data.
5. Username
5.1Your username must not infringe the rights of others. In particular, names are not permitted that are insulting, discriminatory, glorify violence or are pornographic, that use protected trademarks or the names of other persons, or that give the impression that you belong to our team.
5.2We may change or remove a username if it violates these rules. We will inform you about this by e-mail.
6. Security of Your Account
6.1Keep your password secret and use it only for this account.
6.2You can additionally protect your account with two-factor authentication: with a passkey, an authenticator app or a code by e-mail. With a passkey you can also sign in without a password. Signing in via Discord is a link to your account, not a replacement for it: you can set a password at any time via "Forgotten password", even if Discord is unavailable.
6.3If you have a special role at a service, for example as an administrator, that service can require two-factor authentication. It then applies to your entire account. Until you have set it up, you cannot sign in.
6.4If you suspect that someone else has access to your account, change your password immediately and inform us.
6.5To protect against abuse, we temporarily block sign-in if too many failed attempts occur.
7. What Is Not Permitted
You must not use the account to
- violate laws or infringe the rights of others,
- disrupt, overload or spy on our systems,
- create accounts automatically or try out login credentials,
- sell your account to others or permanently hand it over.
8. Availability
8.1We strive to make the account available at all times. We cannot guarantee constant availability. Maintenance work, security reasons or disruptions beyond our control can lead to interruptions.
8.2We may further develop the account and change functions, as far as this is reasonable for you.
9. Term, Deletion and Blocking
9.1The contract runs for an indefinite period.
9.2You can delete your account at any time without giving reasons. After confirmation a 7-day grace period applies, during which you can cancel the deletion via the link in our e-mail or by signing in again. Details are in the privacy notice.
9.3We can terminate the contract by e-mail with a notice period of four weeks.
9.4We may temporarily block your account or terminate it without notice if you seriously violate these Terms of Use. Before a termination we will usually issue a warning, unless the violation is so severe that this cannot reasonably be expected of us. If you think a block is a mistake, write to us at info@animekultur.de. We will look into it.
9.5When the account ends, you can no longer sign in to the services. Contracts you have concluded there, for example for tickets, remain in place. Data held by a service is deleted by its operator according to its own rules.
10. Purchases and Contracts at the Services
The account alone is not a purchase contract. Contracts for purchases or registrations, for example for tickets or booth space, are only concluded at the respective service and with its operator. That operator's General Terms and Conditions apply there. Anime Kultur e.V. does not become a party to these contracts.
11. Liability
11.1We are liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
11.2In cases of slight negligence we are only liable if we breach a material contractual obligation. These are obligations whose fulfilment makes the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may rely. In this case our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable.
11.3Otherwise our liability is excluded.
11.4The respective operator is liable for the services and their content.
12. Changes to These Terms of Use
12.1We may change these Terms of Use if there is a valid reason for it, for example new functions, changed laws or security reasons.
12.2We will inform you about changes by e-mail in good time beforehand.
12.3Material changes only apply if you expressly agree to them. We will ask for your consent at your next sign-in. If you do not agree, we can terminate the contract under section 9.3.
13. Final Provisions
13.1German law applies. If you live as a consumer in another member state of the European Union, the mandatory protective provisions of your state of residence remain applicable.
13.2Should a provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
13.3We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
